10 months old!

Say WHAT?! Only 2 more months until Sofie is 1 year old.  That is just bat shit crazy, excuse my french. Hehe.  This post is going to be an update in pictures, because it's the cool thing to do and who doesn't love pictures?

Sofia Rose is 10 months old! 8.10.13
First things first, of course.  Gotta share the stats.  I'm happy to see that she has gained a little weight, woo hoo! Definitely had a mini growth spurt last week.  She has also take a full step on 2 separate occasions, and can stand up, turn her head, do a few squats; but still not walking. Of course she will walk when she is ready, but hopefully by her 1st bday right?? :D

She is obsessed with this show on Netflix called "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood", I think because there are a lot of catchy songs.  It's a cute show that incorporates learning and self-love (from what I can see).  Now Rob & I sing one of the songs to her.  ♫ "I like you. I like you. I like you just the way you are."♫  Hehe, too cute!
Silly little Sofie!
We always have fun during our mini photoshoot.  I took a few pics with her new lemons and lace headband, isn't it adorbs!  I'm thinking about getting us matching ones, haha.

Surely they will go well with our haircuts ;)  So, I decided to trim her hair (again) and got a little carried away, luckily my friend Chey saved the day.
First official hair cut!
And thanks to G-ma (my MIL), I was able to sneak some mommy time and get my long-awaited hair cut.  Almost 6 inches gone, and I'm not looking back.  Though I love my long hair, it was getting to be a little out of control and harder to maintain.  I'm glad I waited until I started feeling like my normal self with a little more confidence.  I remember reading somewhere to never cut your hair when you're pregnant (you will probably cry, damn hormones!)  I decided to add on to that and not cut my hair until I could actually enjoy it.  With a newborn/infant you won't have much time to do your hair (let's be real), so I didn't really think about a new hair style until the last few months. So much easier to deal with, especially now that I'm an official gym rat. Hey-yooooo.
My "mommy-on-the-go" hair cut ;)

I take a lot of pics of her in the high chair, haha

Riley is patiently waiting for something to fall!
We are extremely blessed to have our family(and friends) near by, I wanted to say thank you to everyone who takes time out of their day to either come visit or come watch Sofie.  She loves interacting with everyone and it means a lot to us!
BBQ & Pool time @ Papa & Gamber's. Cute little cousins!

Tata came to visit, he has been in Prescott for the last month and misses his "Pechocha"

Family from Mexico (and Prescott Valley) came to meet/visit Sofia too!

Sofie loves her Auntie Shan!

Nana showing off her Sugar Daisy in a pretty pink dress (and shoes!)

G-ma spoiled Sofie with a shopping spree at the new Baby Town.  Thanks G-ma!
Daddy & Papa practicing getting those steps in.

Having fun with her fellow party girl, Lily, at Lily's 1st birfday party!
Here are some of my faves of our gorgeous girl.  It's hard to choose, and I am obsessed.  But, you probably figured that out awhile back.  Hehe
Whenever I let Daddy pick out her clothes, he always picks a dress. He just loves to see her all dolled up!

My little sunshine!

Eff shoes!

Can she please just stay this little?!
Now I remember why I try to update every few weeks! Oh well, it's all for good reason.  We have been super busy packing and getting ready for the new house.  Just when we thought we might lose it (due to our short-sale only being 2 years ago) we got approved and closed on Aug 8th! YAY!!  Cue the snowball effect.  I went crazy packing on the day we found out, and since then have taken it easy and packing a box or 2 each day.  The house we currently rent is for sale, so I've been especially busy trying to clean and make it "show ready".  Suffice it to say that I can't wait until we are all moved into the new house.  Possibly this weekend!  We are in the process of getting new tile and are ahead of schedule.  So so stoked!
Thanks for the boxes Amber & Susan!

"The White House" because we live on White Dr.

That about does it for this edition.  Sofie and I woke up with sore throats today and I'm praying that we don't get sick! Operation: nip the sickness in the bud is in full effect!  Snuggles and movie time for these girls.

I will leave you with something less pathetic than our sad, sicky poo faces.

Happy Monday and we'll see ya next time!
